ABSTRACT
The only text of the poem is that in Glasgow Univ. Lib. Hunterian MS. 388, copied in about 1540 by Thomas Chetham of Nuthurst, Lanes., bailiff of the Earls of Derby; see Luttrell (1958). Despite its late date, this appears to be a remarkably faithful copy, apart from a few gaps and some disordering of the last quires.
