ABSTRACT

To quickly review, we started the process with the Five Ws, revealing the What, Who, Where, When, and Why. This led to the Storyline Facts, keeping the connection to the Five Ws with each scene and the characters, and we just completed composing the Three Questions to Choice for each character. We first introduced verbs in the Three Questions to Choice. The List of Verbs is in what the author call “Arc Order,” which means we are tracking, as the actor would say, the A to B to C of Intention changes. This begins with the Opening Intention and goes all the way to the last Intention change in the scene. Using the verbs for both characters, we want to compose two verb-driven sentences that describe as Tom Kingdon quotes Harold Lang in Total Directing, “What am I doing? In order to do what? Against what resistance?”.
