ABSTRACT
Chapter 8 concludes the book by offering a summary of its empirical, theoretical and practical insights and by considering their implications for practitioners and governing bodies charged with upholding and improving healthcare standards, as well as for researchers interested in the discursive work of providing and responding to feedback. This final chapter concludes with consideration of the possible limitations of this study, gesturing toward future areas for research using this and other sources of patient feedback data.
