ABSTRACT

Drawing on the case stories in the book, the author advocates in this chapter eight Cs of trust needed for a leadership of integrity and which affect the culture of organizations: Contracts, Competences, Covenants, Character, Conscience, Commitment, Courage and Change. He spells out the significance of each of these. He suggests that readers will think of other Cs which affect the culture of organizations, from community to climate change. An interesting group exercise might be to brainstorm on possible Cs—and why they are important.
