ABSTRACT
This study places ‘Africa in World Affairs’ within the broader context of the politics of imperialism, the Cold War and globalisation. It refrains from accepting Euro–American perspectives on African and world affairs uncritically and portrays how politics in Africa could be perceived and analysed by a scholar from India.
