ABSTRACT

Ms. Anderson was worried about what the new principal would think of her. Her colleagues felt the same way. Would he be the type of principal to pop into her class unexpectedly? She had tenure and really didn’t need to worry. She knew she was a good teacher. She had been teaching second grade for five years and felt confident in her ability to instruct and help students learn their academic skills. If asked where her weakness lay, she would freely admit it was dealing with non-compliant students.
