ABSTRACT
Jonathan was a junior who had just barely passed all of his subjects since freshman year. This was frustrating for his teachers because he had so much potential and he was a likable and friendly kid. Although he never qualified for special education services, Jonathan had received various types of support in school: afterschool homework help, peer tutoring and frequent meetings with school counselors.
