ABSTRACT
At the first staff meeting of the new school year, Principal Williams announced that he had met with the new superintendent. He said that she was an experienced administrator who had entered the field of education following a successful career in the military. She was fair-minded but had high standards for professional behavior, in particular for how staff interacted with students.
