Using Stories for Professional Development: 35 Tales to Promote Reflection and Discussion in Schools is designed to be a tool for professional development with no pre-determined outcomes. The book is based on the simple premise that individual and collective professional growth will occur if educators are given more time to think and talk with each other. Like any tool, however, the people who hold it in their hands will determine how it is used and how well it is used.
