ABSTRACT
Sigmund Freud’s office at 19 Bergasse was a home office, on the second floor of a typical, late-nineteenth-century apartment house in Vienna’s largely Jewish Ninth District. The proximity of his home and workspace has also contributed to the model of psychoanalysis that has been passed down to future generations of analysts.
