The March 1992 issue of Fortune announced two significant additions to the National Business Hall of Fame: the legendary Sam Walton, founder of Wal-Mart, and Max DePree of Herman Miller. These leaders carried their organizations dynamically because of their own personal beliefs in encouragement.
