What exactly is celebrity fascination? We know that the media constantly talks about celebrities, but what does that all mean? (In the next chapter, we’ll discuss the why of celebrity fascination.) This is also the scholarly anchor for the project, for it is here that we find the bulk of insights from other scholars in the budding field of celebrity studies.
