In this chapter, students of Hindi will acquire the vocabulary, cultural knowledge, and reading skills necessary to understand and discuss the relationship between the second-generation immigrants and their relatives in India. He has learned enough Hindi in his college classes to write about his memories of playing with his grandfather as a child.
