ABSTRACT

Lots of the women wanted more sleep and time for everything, especially if they had young children. Sex became one of the first casualties when sleep and time were in short supply. They wanted more help from their male partners and felt that they would have more energy for an interest in sex if they felt less overwhelmed. The non-ADHD women wanted a partner who carried more of his own weight, whereas the ADHD women needed more help because they had their own struggles with staying on top of everything. Many of these women want more sex with a generous partner who is affectionate, interested, and connected in both sexual and nonsexual ways. Lots of the women with ADHD complained about struggling to keep up with all the many demands on their time and energy and not feeling supported by their partners.
