Some results of the investigation are highlighted in the résumé. The epistemological achievements of the book are as follows: Religion and gender are developed as intersectional categories. The deessentialisation and disidentification of religion and gender are advocated. Religion and gender are described as categories of knowledge production. Religion and gender are described as situated knowledge. The interrelatedness of biopolitics and religion and gender is explored. The contribution of religion to the radical social imaginary is claimed and elaborated. Gender and religion’s possible contribution to subject formation, agency and human flourishing are explored in different contexts.
