ABSTRACT
Weddings and honeymoons contribute to local economies based on expenditures specific to ceremonies, receptions and tourism activities. Three areas of economic development through tourism that are particularly relevant to weddings are examined in Chapter 5, including: 1) visiting friends and relatives travel; 2) honeymoon travel; and 3) destination weddings.
