ABSTRACT

Psychology is a study of the field of behavior, emotions, and cognitions. It covers almost all other aspects of behavioral science. It seeks to understand individual and group behavior. Rational emotive behavior therapy and cognitive behavior therapy academics and practitioners investigate human intelligence, motivation, perception, attention, affection, personality, brain functioning, other thought processes, and interpersonal relationships. In the Arab world, researchers in the field of Islamic psychology are divided into two separate groups—arguing that modern psychology forms, concepts, theories, and practices of the West fail to explain the psychological structure of Muslim individuals. Anatolia and some parts of Syria contain ancient ruins that ‘possibly’ affected later work on psychology and medical science in this part of the world. The authentic ‘Darussifa’ social complex in Edirne in northeastern Turkey was popular for elective treatment strategies from the fifteenth to the nineteenth centuries. Most people in the world who are interested in psychology are curious about the teachings of Sufism.
