ABSTRACT
Social justice leadership will change us in powerful ways; this chapter offers ways of remaining open to those empowering changes while being vigilant about shifts that are not aligned with our feminist values. It discusses the many different paths toward justice, drawing specifically on Transformative Justice and the Buddhist Peace Fellowship’s leadership model of “Block. Build. Be.” Given the complex world in which we live, the chapter discusses how to live contradictions and how to get clear on which ones we can live with and which ones we cannot. The chapter closes with a time travel visioning exercise, so that readers can continue to imagine new possibilities toward justice.
