ABSTRACT
I am sometimes invited to offer motivational presentations before entrepreneurs. When I ask my audience to share with me who their role model is, some say it is an athlete, a business leader, their peer, their boss, or any other famous personality. Surprisingly, no one offers his or her own name as a role model. I realized then and now the importance of being our own role model. Look up to yourself. Learn from yourself. Better yourself each day.
