ABSTRACT

My work takes me around the globe. Every time I travel, I have to be extra mindful about the weight of my luggage. Most airlines require carry-on and stowed items to be below a certain weight. International travel has the most severe requirements for luggage weight. Overall, whether you are travelling in the country or internationally, the rule of the thumb is to travel light. This means you have to be very selective about what goes into the baggage. This mindfulness carries over into your daily working life: as you progress through your career, travel easy. Check your baggage daily. Know what’s going into it and know what’s coming out of it. Travel light. Let the things that weigh you down go.
