ABSTRACT
This chapter is a comprehensive resource guide of trauma-sensitive tiered interventions for use by school counselors. These resources were chosen because they align with a trauma-sensitive philosophy and their use is supported by research, best practices, and/or ASCA standards. Interventions included in this resource guide chapter are Attendance Awareness; Award Ceremonies; Bullying and Discrimination Prevention; College/Career Counseling; Community Circles; Ensure Equity and Access; Extracurricular Activities and Clubs; Modeling Healthy Relationships and Connections; Restorative Questions and Language; Transition Programs College Application/FAFSA Support; Counseling Small Groups for Friendship Building; Counseling Small Groups for Transition; Counseling Small Groups for Support; Mentoring Programs; Restorative Conferences; Crisis Counseling; Home Visits; Individual Student Planning; and Referrals for Community Resources.
