ABSTRACT
Teachers must plan for the learning goal, the vocabulary supports, the tools, the launch of the lesson, the students practicing the math, and the wrap-up and next steps. All of these elements are important parts of the lesson. They all contribute to the success of the guided math group. Using planning templates with these elements on them helps teachers to plan for each of the elements.
