ABSTRACT

Very much has been published on Nazi Germany: my own bibliographical file has over a thousand titles of books and articles, and several hundreds of them are in English. However, the aim of this chapter is no more than to suggest to the general reader a small selection which may help in further discussion of the tragedy of Nazi Germany. The books mentioned will, in turn, suggest in their bibliographies and footnotes yet other material which may be useful. Scholars should themselves be able to cater for their own bibliographical needs.
