ABSTRACT
Chapter 6 reports on the results of the first study, which was to address research question 1: ‘The what, the how, the why and the when, and what are the difficulties associated with implementing green HRM practices at the firm level?’Chapter 6 firstly explores the motivations for the participating firms to adopt green HRM. It then presents the findings regarding green recruitment and selection, green training and development, green appraisals, green rewards and compensation, and green processes and practices. Following that, it examines the major obstacles for organizations to adopt and implement green HRM practices. The chapter concludes with a summation of the key findings.
