ABSTRACT

An overview, as a background to the chapters on the interwar period and the Second World War, of the great variety of extreme Right movements in France in the Twenties and Thirties (including significant developments and changes in Action Française). The other movements dealt with include the Jeunesses Patriotes, Le Faisceau, Solidarité Française, the Francistes, the Croix de Feu, and finally the Parti Populaire Français and the Cagoule.
