How Do Ownership and Control Change the Game?

The concept of making wealth stick through ownership and/or control of various forms of wealth ties back to one of the six principles of WealthWorks. The power and importance of ownership and/or control of multiple forms of wealth including intellectual capital for wealth creation value chains is discussed and illustrated. Seven structures for shared ownership and control are introduced, along with six structures that can be used to provide a measure of influence and control without outright ownership. Considerations related to ownership transitions are also discussed.
