ABSTRACT
This chapter begins with Freudian ideas on unconscious communication and illustrates how those have been utilized and expanded upon by British, French and North American psychoanalysts into intersubjective clinical techniques of reverie, hybrid monstrous chimeras and hallucinosis, as well as the use of the analyst’s mind as an internal receptive space for the patient’s unconscious material.
