ABSTRACT
This chapter outlines the components of the microfinance FINSI, including its innovative practices around group lending and dynamic incentives. The chapter uses the FINSI framework to explore microfinance’s growth and scale, the dark side of the FINSI, the implications for social outcomes, and projections for future trajectories of the FINSI. It also profiles an example of microfinance: Opportunity International.
