ABSTRACT
This chapter describes two detailed optimization studies performed in selected areas in India. Part I shows how the reliability optimizing model presented in Chapter 4 might be practically implemented, while Part II demonstrates an empirical case study involving the optimal loss methodology developed in Chapter 5.
