ABSTRACT

Yogi Berra once said, “You can observe a lot just by watching.” This is what reviewing is all about – observing what is actually happening, being achieved, and the obstacles being encountered. The purpose of a review is to measure progress toward achieving the goals of the plan, evaluate the progress, identify risks to achieving the goals and necessary changes to establish the need for a recovery plan to correct for any variation from the path toward the goals. This is also the point at which leadership may need to adjust goals to accommodate changes in the business environment, technology, and culture.
