ABSTRACT

The ‘Socio-Economic Profile of the Tribal Communities in Punjab’ describes the overall social and economic condition of the respondents’ households starting from their income to their living conditions and amenities besides owning pets and vehicles etc. It reflects on the dismal conditions of the living standards of the tribal communities in the ‘developed’ and rich state of Punjab. The quantitative data is presented in 25 tables at three levels of income of the respondents.
