ABSTRACT
Working with La Pocha has changed my life – a clean, cool drink of water after traveling in a cultural desert of academia, art fairs, and museums for centuries. La Pocha is the long-lost family I have longed for for ages and now found. Like a grove of aspens, we all form a neural network connected to each other through our mind, souls, and bodies. We are fluid, we are transient, flexible. The pedagogy is inclusive and necessary to arm ourselves for the conditions of apocalypse. The workshops and exposure have led me gently to uncover my own path of forging trust in/with my own body as my weapon/tool of communication. I can be whole again and understand the truth of my/our condition.
