ABSTRACT
This chapter will discuss and demonstrate how to collaboratively identify a solution sequence. A solution sequence is an alternative, adaptive sequence that replaces a problem sequence and contributes to the improvement or resolution of the presenting problem. Various hypothesizing metaframeworks may govern the selection of a solution sequence. Particular attention needs to be paid to assuring that the solution sequence fits the developmental levels and cultural context of the clients. The role of IST's culture metaframework in the selection of a solution sequence will be elaborated.
