ABSTRACT

This chapter will present the IST perspective on how to evaluate therapy progress and modify treatment planning. This includes evaluating the appropriateness of and client fidelity with the solution sequences, the success of interventions to remove constraints, and the path for concluding that other constraints are still present. The intricacies of the evaluation process are discussed in relation to particular interventions as well as the overall progress of therapy. Special emphasis is given to the discussion of client feedback and how it can lead to the modification of a plan, which is a hallmark of the IST approach.
