This concluding chapter aims to help readers synthesize and apply concepts relating to literature-based instruction explored in earlier chapters. A scenario of an all-community read is described, and readers are invited to dream of further ways to share a love of literature and teach with trade books in order to help students truly understand the exciting fields of study represented in their high school. The importance of librarians, teachers, administrators, and other school leaders taking on integral roles to help meet the goal of enhancing literacy in the disciplines is reiterated and emphasized.
