ABSTRACT
The introduction provides a brief conceptual framework of the terms ‘empire’ and ‘resistance’, on which the entire discussion of the book hinges. It explains the journey of the book and the source material it has used. In addition, it draws a broad framework of all the chapters and highlights the main arguments in each chapter.
