ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses how Mary and her team managed the studio's birthday. They planned the first major release-level retrospective, then cocktails and pupus on the lawn, where the tables and balloons were now being set up. Pacifica's MyHedge was in pilot production, with two pilot customers managing four total transaction sets. Two more customers were planning to begin pilot following an incremental improvement release. The team had learned much and was excited for the June planned ability to expand the product they were now perfecting to a much broader customer base. Mary's objective was to look back over the full last year and identify what we did well and where they made wrong turns. And they would use that information to resolve what they want to do more and less of this coming year.
