ABSTRACT

There are many advantages of Islamic business and trade in preventing upheavals. However, at the same time, there are contemporary issues that need to be addressed by means of the Islamic perspective on business and trade. The primary focus in this chapter is to highlight the notion of strategic planning in an Islamic perspective and describe its importance in businesses. The rudiments of Islamic business practice (such as the principles of marketing in Islam, adherence to the truth, honesty, and the prohibition of nudity, the element of men and women for seduction and its repercussions on business) are also discussed in this chapter.
