ABSTRACT

The purpose of this chapter is to provide guidelines for conducting an evaluation of the implementation of a sport psychology program, following the completion of the program. First, the chapter presents a rationale for why evaluating program implementation is an important part of developing, improving, and sustaining a sport psychology program. Second, it delineates implementation evaluation questions that help focus this form of program evaluation. Third, it covers methods and procedures for obtaining implementation evaluation information. Fourth, the chapter considers how to communicate and use implementation evaluation information.
