ABSTRACT
Many technical schools can be found throughout the United States and in other parts of the world as well. Some might find technical schools expensive or limited in their training resources, while others find them a quicker path to employment than traditional colleges. Often manufacturer training is provided at little or no cost to end users and can be very valuable in understanding a product or range of products. Learning sessions, forums, panel discussions, and case studies are common parts of every lighting tradeshow. Learning sessions are also found at production company "open house" events, manufacturer demos, houses of worship, union halls, and even in venues. The private training helped to accelerate his knowledge, and also fostered a great friendship that continues to this day. Some organizations such as unions, rental companies, houses of worship, or schools may hire professionals to teach their staff important abilities.
