ABSTRACT
This chapter explores a text from Argentina which reports on the bringing up of a child conceived by IVF within a same-sex relationship. The exercises ask for independent research on the LGTBI+ community in Argentina and on the use of voseo, which is also explained in more detail later in the chapter under grammar. Work on vocabulary additionally involves the study of alternatives to the general verb decir and expressions involving the verb estar. Grammar also covers discrimination of the prepositions frente a / enfrente de / delante de / ante. Production exercises consist of the explanation of different types of family models and response to a series of questions inviting opinions on charitable activities.
