ABSTRACT

This chapter uses lyrics or poetry at the stage rather than dramatic literature because this material is not necessarily associated with specific contexts such as plot and character. Bracketing is a system of phrasing. It is a way to organize text that prioritizes image groups, especially in heightened texts. It also provides a structural foundation for personal sourcing. Shifting shapes during the walks, either with or without sticks, aligns spinal trajectory with specific foot to floor relationship. Adding all of these components to rhythm mashup (which includes stops of a significant duration) highlights the stops needed to distinguish real action from a movement. Each iteration of the processes needs time: time for the instrument to absorb, digest, and metabolize all of the discoveries and information it has received.
