We express our inner life through our body. We may have spent much of our lives hiding our emotions and desires. But as an actor playing a character, it’s vital that we share them in an artistic, yet authentic, way. Our expressive body-mind tells an audience what’s going on inside our character. We want the messages to be clear, clean, uncluttered, and yet strong enough to communicate to the back row. We must translate our inner experience into an outer expression.
