ABSTRACT
The Magdalena Project is an international women’s theatre organization which is based in Cardiff, Wales, and which has attracted participants from many parts of the world, including Latin America, Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and New Zealand. Jill Greenhalgh is the founding Artistic Director of Magdalena; Susan Bassnett, who has been involved in the project from the start, is the author of Magdalena: International Women’s Experimental Theatre (Berg, 1989).
