ABSTRACT

Elizabeth MacLennan acted in the West End, TV and film, before co-founding the 7:84 Theatre Company with her husband, John McGrath. She recently published a book about 7:84, The Moon Belongs to Everyone (Methuen, 1990). Her recent projects include a one-woman show, based on the story of Rigoberta Menchu (the Quiche Indian Guatemalan indigenous peoples’ activist, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1992), writing a TV comedy series on women’s issues, and teaching at Columbia University Drama Department in New York.
