ABSTRACT
A democratic government bent on recovering with the goodwill of all Guyanese behind it will move up in standing and respect in the region and the wider international community. This will enhance our prospects for diplomatic and technical assistance, financial and material support through the difficult period of reconstruction. Inside Guyana this program will be used by the government to referee differing views that will arise from time to time in the carrying out of policies. Working People’s Alliance (WPA) sees the role of government as promoting ideas and action, giving guidance and support and guaranteeing that the rules, regulations, and laws of society are observed by all equally.
