ABSTRACT
Dr. Roger Luncheon is a magna cum laude graduate of Howard University, where he was also Phi Beta Kappa. He became a specialist in internal medicine and is a member of the Medical Honor Society. Land and the ability to raise taxes are some of the areas that engendered racial conflict at the local level. Public service worker fears of rampant dismissal in the wake of a new government will be addressed by fair employment practice laws. The Democratic Labour Movement (DLM) is eight years old and is a movement of the new generation of Guyanese. The history of Guyana began in Guyana and will end in Guyana. The DLM also believes that its manifesto has committed itself to a different kind of leadership. Guyana is indeed at a crossroad in its post-colonial history. A British pro-consul once described Guyana as a motley collection of disparate races.
