ABSTRACT

Chapter 7 concludes the book with implications for personal and pedagogical changes. The chapter provides implications for researchers and teacher practitioners. Even more so, I account how critical consciousness and introspection are vital necessities as both are needed to analyze the realities and sacrifices of making a truth space. I emphasize that committing to this work means revisiting these questions time and time again. Committing to this work means offering your privileges as sacrifice to be in the service of others. Committing to this work means getting comfortable with being uncomfortable building a world in which Black lives are loved, lauded, and protected.
