ABSTRACT
Undertaking some of the target- specific restorative justice proposals is necessary, but hardly sufficient. Even more urgent is the need to work systemically for social justice if we are serious about taking on our country’s deeply entrenched institutional racism. A few suggestions will humbly be offered, recognizing that authentic voices have been involved in the work of liberation and the dismantling of institutional racism in the United States for centuries.
