ABSTRACT
The purpose of critical to quality trees is to convert customer needs and wants to measurable requirements for the business to implement. The business eliminated mandatory warranty visits and made all warranty visits optional. Eliminating mandatory visits satisfied the customers who thought there were too many visits, and adding an extra optional visit satisfied any customers who felt there were too few visits. Training simulations have become increasingly popular since the methodology and computerized tools to do simulations have become easier to understand and more cost-efficient. Measuring the cause and effect of training is complicated based on what equation you use to get results. A well-designed training program pays for itself and increases the bottom line. It maximizes productivity and profits and decreases downtime, equipment damage, and personal injuries. One aspect that both Lean and Agile appreciate, a little more when initiating a project, than traditional project management, is the consideration of all of those the project will impact.
